Dr. Annie Snow
Director at Noxubee County
Career & Technical Center

Dear Parents and Students:

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year!  It is an honor and a privilege to lead this wonderful career and technical education center.  I am fortunate to have been with the Noxubee County School District for the past 12 years as the Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE).  My past experience has shown me that it takes a team to help all students reach their maximum potential.  As dedicated educators, we will continue to motivate and guide each of our students to pursue success.  High standards and expectations for technical and academic performance and a safe and respectable learning environment for each student are the foundation of our school.

The Noxubee County Career and Technical Center’s programs allow students to (1) integrate technical, academic, and work-based knowledge; (2) recognize the value of the authentic classroom experiences to the real world; and (3) display leadership abilities and exhibit teamwork abilities through career and technical students’ organizations.  CTE teachers are creating challenging, engaging, and effective lessons from the state adopted curriculum.  Teachers are preparing students to manage resources, adapt to the ever changing workplace, and utilize technology.  All faculty and staff members are working to increase community awareness and interest in our CTE programs, utilizing Advisory and Craft Committees that can offer advice and guidance on career and workplace issues, and developing strong partnerships with businesses and industries.

In conclusion, I wish you all an awesome school year.  If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me and know that my door is always open.  I can be reached via email at asnow@noxcnty.k12.ms.us or phone at 662-726-4225.

Sincerely,

 Annie J. Snow, Ed. D.
